Bill Yanger has over 34 years of experience in nearly all facets of law in both state and federal courts. Yanger has strong ties to the community, as someone active in local organizations such as the Hillsborough Early Childhood Council and Bayshore Little League. His opponent, 38-year-old Monique Scott is a former Tampa police officer and public school teacher who began her legal career in 2013. Although her personal and professional background would bring greater diversity to the county court, Yanger’s extensive experience and sound judgment render him a stronger candidate for this elected seat.
