The Wandering Hours celebrates the release of two new singles with this local bluegrass-drenched gig.
The Best of the Bay-winning “neo-traditional mountain folk” quintet recently put out a lo-fi, live-without-a-crowd versions of “Irene,” anchored on some killer mandolin parts and fiddle leads. Also new is more harmonious “Hard To Travel,” and both been released along with music videos filmed in Hot Springs, North Carolina (studio versions are out on June 20).
The group is also taking pre-orders for 7-inch records, so maybe off one of your dad’s old 45 adapters, or maybe take the eight-minute drive to Bananas Music to buy another one for cheap.
