Originally from the D.C. area, singer/songwriter Noah Woods relocated here for college and has built a loyal local following via agreeable, reggae-tinged strum-pop and regular gigs at Sacred Grounds, a Tampa coffee shop near the USF campus. This self-titled, full-length CD finds the earnest singer accompanied by smooth-jazz sax, subtle percussion and keyboard colorings. Titles like "Butterfly Feelings," "Saved" and "Celebration" tell it all. "Follow your heart and your desire," he sings, "they will come true, you have the power to free yourself."
