If you've been meaning to check out the new Ceviche in Clearwater, you have good reason to tonight. Join Lowry Park Zoo's young professional Tower Club for ZooGria, a festive fundraiser with drink specials and half-priced tapas.

Suggested donation is $15. All donations benefit the zoo's education, recreation, conservation and research efforts.

The new Ceviche occupies the former Tio Pepe's on Gulf-to-Bay Boulevard, a landmark of sorts — popular for its historic, Spanish-style design.

The restaurant, according to Ceviche's website, "combines old world Spanish charm with incredible new world Barcelona design." It has live entertainment in the lounge, drinks and patio under a tree canopy. At the Clearwater location only: wines from around the world.

Going to the mall tonight and have an extra 80 bucks to spend?

Me, I would've spent it on nosebleed seats to see Neil Young at Ruth Eckerd last night, but, hey, we can't see 'em all, can we?

If your interests lean more toward the haute couture side, you could use that cash to gain entry into the Fashion Week Tampa Bay's Glitz, Glamor and Fashion II event at the Neiman Marcus in International Plaza. The event features runway shows, a wine tasting, hors d'oeuvres and a raffle for luxury items.

In addition, You'll help out the PACE Center for Girls 'cause proceeds from the event are going to that well-deserving nonprofit.
