Aestheticized Presents posted a slew of hot new shows to take us through spring. There are plenty to recommend but the one I'm most jazzed about is Dr. Dog (pictured), the Philly soul/pop band that just dropped one of the best CDs of recent months. Unfortunately, Dr. Dog handicapped itself with one of the worst band names of all time. Dr. John … Dr. Hook … Dr. Dre … Dr. Octagon … Dr. Seuss … Did we really need another doctor in the house?
