Animals As Leadersโ€™ latest album Parrhesia could easily be the soundtrack to a dystopian action film. Itโ€™s loaded with angry guitar riffs, a few softer, synth-led moments, and as usual, no bass guitar present.

But that album wonโ€™t be on the Washington D.C instrumental prog-metal trioโ€™s mind at all until the encore, because this year marks the 10th anniversary of its third album The Joy of Motion, which saw a few special-edition vinyl reissues emerge last year.

Australian guitarist and songwriter Plini opens.

Tickets to see Animals As Leaders play Jannus Live in St. Petersburg on Sunday, Nov. 24 are still available and start at $30.
