The original line up of the influential group Further Seems Forever has announced a reunion “activity” for Spring 2011. Featuring Dashboard Confessional heartthrob Chris Carraba on vocals, guitarists Josh Colbert and Nick Dominguez, bassist Chad Neptune and drummer Steve Kleisath, the original lineup is rumored to be planning a tour and possible a new album. I hope long-time producer James Wisner is on board for that.

Formed in 1998 in Pompano Beach, Florida, the seminal lineup released on of the best rock albums of the decade, 2001’s The Moon is Down. Carraba left shortly thereafter to start acoustic-emo act Dashboard Confessional. Since Carraba’s departure, the band was a revolving door of members. In 2005 the band played a reunion show with Carrabba, performing The Moon is Down in its entirety.

Below is some teaser footage posted on the band’s site.
