After playing Katharine Hepburn’s love interest in countless screwball comedies, Cary Grant went on to fulfill every man’s dream by starring opposite the younger, more attractive Audrey, in the 1963 murder mystery, Charade. Audrey stars as Regina, who returns from a Swiss holiday to find that her husband has been murdered — and the business partners he double-crossed want their money. Peter (Grant) offers to help her fend off the thugs by finding the cash, though in a not-so-shocking twist, Peter isn’t the Good Samaritan he appears to be. The film is presented as part of the Summer Sunset Film Festival by The Studio@620 and Push Ultra Lounge.
