There is a contested Republican race for Congressional District 11, where the winner will likely face Democrat Kathy Castor this fall (Castor is being challenged by a Tea Party based Democrat named Tim Curtis).
In the current issue of CL we feature a story that reports on all four of the candidates in the race. One of them, former member of the military Mike Prendergast, has now produced the first television ad of the contest. This comes after he began airing radio ads on a select group of AM radio stations last week.
In the ad, Prendergast compares Castor to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, who has become public enemy#1 for Republicans to target in a way they haven't gone after a national Democrat since the days when they would feature Ted Kennedy or Hillary Clinton in their direct mail pieces.
