Calling quidditch complicated might be the understatement of the century. Think about field hockey and flag football and basketball and freeze tag all being played at the same time on the same field. Then make it complicated. If you have a vivid imagination, that might get you close to the muggle interpretation of regulation quidditch play. Let me explain.
Right now, I’m at a conference in Orlando called Infinitus. It’s the seventh conference organized by HPEF, a nonprofit “committed to producing academic symposia on the Harry Potter books and cultural phenomenon.” One of the features of the conference is a quidditch tournament.
