What’s the buzz on the latest issues in the Green Community? Check out what you may have missed last week:

Jack Johnson’s eco-friendly tour – With a crowd of about 17,500, Jack and his crew kept the fans standing and singing along to all of his love-the-earth and you-can-make-a-difference lyrics.

Triclosan: Helpful antibacterial agent or harmful to people and the environment? – It is currently under scrutiny by the FDA and the EU for the possible harmful side effects it can cause in human and its environmental effects.

Climate change and its negative effects on animal habitats and migratory patterns – Since the start of the Industrial Revolution animals have been shifting their territories to accommodate the changes in their environment and everything from common animals, like squirrels and mice, to less common creatures, such as Brown Bears, are behaving differently.

New vehicle fuel economy labels may also show environmental grade – The U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) are teaming up and proposing a rule for the addition of fuel economy stickers to all new vehicles, starting with the 2012 models.
