This Sunday afternoon in Tampa one of the biggest political forums of 2010 will take place at the Embassy Suites hotel next to the USF campus, where organizers say over 40, and perhaps as many as 50 candidates will participate.
A coterie of minority groups, such as the Hillsborough branch of the NAACP, and FCAN are the "organizers partners" of the events, while United Voices, La Gaceta and the Tampa Bay Human Rights Council are the actual sponsors.
What makes the forum unique is that its breadth is wide ranging, with candidate from Hillsborough, Pinellas, Pasco and Hernando participating.
Candidate for local office will speak beginning at 4:00 p.m., with candidates for state wide office going in front of the audience at 5:30 p.m.
