Politically the big story in Washington D.C. is what the House Democrats will do when they get the chance to vote on the Obama/McConnell tax cut compromise later this week. We saw several different Dems on the various talk shows yesterday chatting about what they're going to do, but we want to know why Bernie Sanders, who filibustered on the floor of the Senate for over 8 hours on Friday inveighing against the plan, couldn't get an invite to any of those Sunday shows?
Are you hoping Mike Bloomberg runs for President? The New York Mayor brings a lot of attractive qualities to a potential independent candidacy: He's very pro business, very socially liberal, and is multi-billionaire. But he quashed those hopes of some that he'll run in 2012 yesterday – for now.
With the Tampa municipal elections for city council taking place in less than 3 months, the various candidates are getting busy raising money and awareness in the city, with 3 such candidates holding fundraisers tonight.
And with cold weather blanketing most of the nation, watching football becomes even more exciting, as the regular season gets closer to ending. There were several incidents of note yesterday, not the least of which was the Minneapolis Metrodome collapsing because of excessive snow.
