The headliners for this year's Coachella Music and Arts Festival was announced today. The three-day event, which along with Bonaroo in June are considered the premiere outdoor events of the rock music festival world in the states, will take place April 16-18 at the Empire Polo Field in Indio, California.
The Sunday night line-up in particular looks to be extremely enticing, with the much anticipated reunion of 90's indie rock gods Pavement, along with Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke, and the ascendant Pheonix all on the roster. The actual top headliner is the virtual group Gorillaz.
