A potential GOP 2012 nominee for President, Bobby Jindal, was in Tampa yesterday stumping for a guy who maybe put in the same category in 3 weeks, Marco Rubio.  You can read about that experience here.

During last week's Univision debate between Rick Scott and Alex Sink (that nobody saw), Scott accused Sink of granting licenses to ex-cons in the insurance business.  Conservative bloggers picked up on the story, and the story has now gone mainstream in today's Miami Herald/St. Pete Times.

Speaking of the Times, we have a lot of respect for their editorial board, which is why we're shocked to see them endorse Jim Norman for state Senate next month.  Respectfully, CL thinks the Times could have gone a different way.

Yesterday we posted a story on House District 52 GOP candidate Jeff Brandes tough new ad attacking Democrat Bill Heller of being a tax and spend liberal.  Heller responds in a follow-up blog post.
