We could see why Tampa Mayor Bob Buckhorn wouldn’t want to piss off Cubans living in South Florida; he may need them in 2018 if he ends up running for governor. But his attitude does make him stand out among other Democrats, most of whom strongly support stronger ties to the country, especially for Tampa.
