Usually when a celebrity interviews another celebrity, it’s an underwhelming snoozefest of publicist-approved questions and bland banter you’ve already forgotten by the commercial break. But sometimes, it’s magic — like when actor/director Michael Rapaport appeared on Snoop Dogg’s GGN Hood News to talk about witnessing the Doggfather’s first encounter with Tupac back in 1994.

It’s a story as monumental as you'd expect it be, riddled with anecdotes of an ensuing rap battle between the two, Snoop’s first time smoking a blunt, and Rapaport’s still-utter (and hilarious) disbelief that he got to witness this historical moment in hip hop go down first-hand.

Of course, Snoop and Tupac went on to become two of hip-hop’s biggest names, appearing on the tracks “2 of Amerikaz Most Wanted" and “Wanted Dead or Alive" together. Watch the full interview clip below.
