
Last night's Fox News/Facebook GOP debate pretty much made fun of itself, if you couldn't tell by our liveblogging of the event. The hilarity and preposterousness was so rapid-fire that it was hard to catch everything, especially as we tried to fact-check and keep our coverage of the professional wrestling-esque face-off entertaining.
Luckily, much of the internet was right there with us, including U.S. Senator and Democratic presidential contender Bernie Sanders (whose growing popularity we wrote about this week) and one of our favorite comedians, Patton Oswalt, the man who brought us sky cake. Oswalt is coming to the Straz Center on Aug. 29.
Judging by his Twitter feed last night, writes Salon contributor Scott Eric Kaufman, we could see some fresh commentary from the irreverent comedian.
