If you're into craft beer and also a huge fan of the ocean (because in Florida, why wouldn't you be?), head over to Barley Mow Brewing Company Thursday night for a special event featuring both.

After a screening of Sharks of the Coral Canyon, an Emmy-winning documentary presented by Ocean Media Institute that details the link between sharks and coral reefs (two of the ocean's most threatened species), sample Barley Mow beers and enter a raffle to win a slew of prizes.

Stick around for the Brews for the Blue event's discussions with local marine scientists, informational tables from area organizations and food from Out of the Pot. And be sure to check out the 12-and-a-half-foot, custom-painted paddleboard up for silent auction.

Barley Mow will debut a new tropical pale ale, I Am Ocean, specially crafted for the screening. The free event's proceeds will go to Ocean Media Institute.
