Creativity is paramount among the good folks at Creative Clay, where volunteers help people with developmental, physical and emotional disabilities (as well as children and veterans) find joy in making art. It’s a nonprofit, so no one’s in it for the money, but take it from me — Hallmark and CVS have nothing on Creative Clay: It’s the place to go if you’re looking to buy some awesome birthday cards. Your purchase will not only support the program, it’ll be a confidence booster to the artists.
