Paint the town red, because Doja Cat has announced a new string of tour dates, one of which will stop at Tampa’s recently-renamed Benchmark International Arena.

The 29-year-old queen of pop-rap finally dropped her funky new album Vie last week, after a three-year period of recording. The record, which features contributions from fellow rap goddess SZA and Jack Antonoff (a.k.a. this generation’s Jeff Lynne, and frontman of his own project, Bleachers), is described as a return to her roots, and sees her show off her pipes more than on any of her past records.

The last time ol’ Amala Dlamini was in town was in November of 2023, with hometown hero Doechii opening things up. And while her tonsil surgery-related cancellation opening for The Weeknd’s 2022 gig at Raymond James Stadium was a bummer, seeing the Boss Bitch play Clearwater’s Coachman Park days before COVID-19 shut things down was nothing short of a fever dream.

Tickets to see Doja Cat play Tampa’s Benchmark International Arena on Friday, Nov. 13 go on sale next Thursday at 10 a.m. No ticket prices have been announced yet.
