Cheeky’s is already a good reason to skip a trip to the beach, and now the St. Petersburg seafood spot wants you to ditch a pack lunch, too.
This afternoon, Nate Siegel’s Best of the Bay-winning fish and raw bar at 2823 Central Ave. announced plans to serve lunch Wednesday-Friday from noon-3 p.m. and noon-5 p.m. on weekends.
Highlights on the Cheeky’s lunch menu include the fried oyster burger ($24), and award-winning twist on the surf ‘n turf that one critic said invoked memories of Cape Cod. “The saline crunch of the oyster, the juicy meatiness of the smashburger, the breezy vibe—the fried oyster burger is a downright holy trinity,” former Creative Loafing Tampa Bay Editor-In-Chief David Warner added.
The dinner menu won’t be available until 5 p.m. daily, but since this is Florida—and a meeting over frozen espresso martinis beats a coffee catchup anytime—Cheeky’s loaded bar offerings will all be at your service during lunch.
Happy hour at Cheeky’s runs from 3 p.m.-6 p.m. daily. Soundtracked by hits from the ‘70s and ‘80s, Cheeky’s in St. Petersburg is now open at noon daily from Wednesday-Sunday.
