Reddit wasn’t lying. Last month, the Mayor of Flavortown was indeed in downtown Tampa filming “Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives” at Supernatural Food & Wine.

The episode airs on Friday, May 22 at 9 p.m. EDT according to the Supernatural crew, which will host a watch party at Mighty Fine, located at 1018 E Cass St. just a 10-minute walk away.

“Up to this point, we been locked up by an NDA, and general best practices, to neither confirm nor deny the existence of this footage,” Supernatural Food & Wine wrote on social media. “Come join and watch the SN team ham it tf up on national television!”

To celebrate, the crew will have one free keg of beer and just 50 commemorative Mighty Fine x Supernatural t-shirts.

Last month, a post on Reddit caught Fieri, 58, outside the revered wine and sandwich shop, red Camaro and all. Some users thought that this reporter was also in the photograph, but Creative Loafing Tampa Bay contributor Annalise Mabe got no comment due to a non-disclosure agreement.

It’s unclear what other Bay area spots Fieri may have visited, but other restaurants he’s filmed at locally include Tampa Bay Brewing Co. in Ybor City, Buya Ramen in St. Petersburg and Keegan’s in Gulfport.
