When it comes to Tampa’s art scene, Tracy Midulla has very much been a bus driver. On Thursday in Ybor City, the Tempus Projects founder and Kress Contemporary leader will talk about other artists who’ve taken the wheel to change cultural and urban landscapes.
“Through exhibitions, public programming, partnerships, and community-building initiatives, I’ll discuss how artists and independent arts organizations adapt, create opportunities, and foster connection while navigating growth, change, and shifting ideas around access, identity, and place,” she told Creative Loafing Tampa Bay.
The talks—curated around a theme adopted monthly at Creative Mornings chapters across the world—are short (20 minutes) and include free coffee and brekkie snacks. This month’s theme is “create.”
