Representatives from a few handfuls of city, county and state offices — including folks representing Tampa City Council, Jane Castor, Marco Rubio, Kathy Castor and more — were in Ybor City on Wednesday for a World Environment Day mixer and talks regarding the role alternative fuels play in the Tampa Bay community and what steps are being taken to mitigate environmental impacts from the transportation sector.
