Yep, Charlie Chaplin's one of the inductees for the National Comedy Hall of Fame.

Pasco County's getting a comedy museum.

Maybe.

Right now, the twosome behind the National Comedy Hall of Fame, David Spezza and Tony Belmont, exists only as a traveling exhibit, but it's ready to move on up, from traveling exhibit to permanent museum. The Tampa Bay-based company has its eyes on Holiday Tower, at the corner of Darlington and US 19 in Holiday. The museum will pay tribute to the comedy greats and include traditional and interactive exhibits.

They've had a GoFundMe page up and running since April of last year, but so far have raised only $20 of their $100,000 goal.

The traveling exhibit has 22 inductees, including Bob Newhart, Lucille Ball, Abbott & Costello and George Carlin.

We love the idea of a comedy museum, and hate to think of this project dying on the vine. So, you agree and think we could all use a laugh sometimes, well, you know what to do.
