Looking for something to do outside with the fam? Green Bench Brewing Co. has the answer. The brewery's bi-weekly Movies in the Beer Garden event invites your crew of all ages to camp out and watch a free movie. On Wednesday, Jan. 20, Green Bench is screening "Moonrise Kingdom"(PG-13), a classic Wes Anderson flick.
This event is BYOB (bring your own blanket—gotcha!) or lawn chair, as well as snacks. But you might want to bring some dough for beers to get a little buzzed during the screening. Each movie kicks off at 7 p.m., so get there a little early to stakeout your lounge spot as they are first come first serve.
Just a heads up, while there isn't a set number for capacity for this event, a Green Bench rep did confirm that a manager will be on-site to ensure social distancing, and if the space runs out of room for guests to safely watch, there will be an employee assigned to the door to regulate guests.
While it is cute to have a moment with the family in an open-air environment, Green Bench's Facebook event page reminds folks that, "We only ask that if you bring your kiddos along, that they are respectful of the movie viewers and the Beer Garden."
