Classics sneaker exhibit celebrates NYC graffiti — In Ybor City

Graffiti is legendary. There's no denying it. And the legends who led the movement in New York City date back to 1972. It was the NYC transit cops vs. these artists — who weren't always called that. Those legends have adorned classic Reeboks ('80s kids, you know which ones we mean) with graffiti, and mergeculture's paired them with 14 other contemporary artists from across the US. 20 graffiti-ed up white kicks will be on exhibit. This is about as close as you can get to a '70s-era NYC subway without fighting the rats and porn theaters, so come hang with these artists, which is really hanging with history.
