Partiers and VIPs enjoy music and the 30 foot revolving dance floor in the newly re-opened Amphitheatre in Ybor City.

The Amphitheatre in Ybor city is up and partying ... again. It was first opened at its address at 1609 E. Seventh Ave. as the Amphitheatre in 1998 but closed in 2007 as large crowds in the party district began to dwindle. Since that time others have tried to bring the 12,000-square-foot club back to its glory days of being one of the busiest dance and music venues in Ybor city. Over the last few years it has been through several permutations such as Club 360 and most recently Club Tantra. John Santoro, former owner of Amphitheater Entertainment Complex has partnered up with Liane Bennati (former owner of “BUY Owner”) to create The Amphitheatre Event Facility in Ybor City. The new management have plans to turn the club into a venue that "will take your event to the next level."
