The exhibition at The Bricks is part of the 30th annual Tampa Am skateboarding contest. The art show is tonight only, starting at 8 p.m.
Margera, 45, rose to prominence as a skateboarder and television personality on various MTV reality stunt shows and spin-offs, specifically “Jackass,” which was on for three seasons before spawning offshoot shows and movies.
The Tampa Am skateboarding contest—which helped launch the careers of many skaters including 2024 Olympic medalist Nyjah Huston who won Tampa Am in 2005—began on Wednesday, and closes on Sunday, Nov. 10.
The contest takes place at the Skatepark of Tampa (SPoT), which was founded by Brian Schaefer in 1993. SPoT is now one of the most popular skate parks in the Tampa Bay area, alongside the annual Tampa Am contest attracting new skaters every year.
Margera’s art show is free to attend, and for those interested in attending the Tampa Am skateboarding contest, tickets are available to purchase, starting at $10.
