Auld lang syne (already?) — Tampa Bay NYE events make Florida Top 10

How many people sit and wrack their brains about the perfect way to celebrate the ending of one year and the birth of another? My dream for the last few years has been to take a road trip to New York and watch the ball drop in Times Square. However, when there are so many splashy events to attend here in Florida, why wouldn’t a girl stick close to home rather than starting her very own Sex in the City adventure?

Florida Travel Life listed two out of ten New Year’s Eve Events that are right here in the bay area. Hyde Park Village Tampa at The Rooftop Eve combines mystery and elegance in the form of a Masquerade Noir. Guests will enjoy complimentary beverages, live entertainment and fireworks.

If midnight masquerades don’t tickle your fancy, then sail into '14 with Starlite New Year’s Eve Cruise, where you can spend your last hours of 2013 with a sit-down dinner, complimentary open bar and Champagne.

So are you ready for the New Year? I am!
