Books on the move: BlueBird book bus stops at Sherry's and Cafe Hey

Come out for more intellectually charged events on Nov. 19 when the bus rubs engines with other grass root projects during the Ubernothing Big Machine event planned to take over Franklin Street's Cafe Hey from 7 to 11:30 p.m. Ubernothing is a Bay area art review and literary magazine that fosters awareness of local cultural movements. Saturday night is their first-ever live art show and poetry reading with expected bumper-to-bumper local visual and performing artists.

Sat., Nov. 19, 8 a.m.-2 p.m. Sherry's Yesterdaze Parking Lot Sale, 5207 N. Florida Ave., Tampa. Free.

Sat., Nov. 19, 7-11:30 p.m. at Café Hey, 1540 N. Franklin Ave., Tampa. Free.

The books on the bus go round and round — to Seminole Heights and downtown Tampa.

The mobile bookstore and literary art project BlueBird Books is finally hitting the road, igniting their first tour during Sherry's Yesterdaze Parking Lot Sale this Sat., Nov. 19 from 8 to 2 p.m.

Bluebird’s book collection makes up a parking space of variety: non-fiction, fiction, sci-fi, romance and others along with artist books, handmade notebooks and ephemera.

Retail sales support the mobile station of inspiration, enabling them to organize cultural events such as play readings, poetry readings and bookmaking workshops for the community at large.
