If Tampa is going to truly embrace its big-city ambitions, then City Bike Tampa is going to help. The Tampa bike shop has served downtown and surrounding neighborhoods for a decade, and it’s celebrating its en year by throwing a three-day anniversary party.

The weekend kicks off on Friday night when Coppertail Brewery unveils a special City Bike Tampa collaborative brew. Tastings and a new T-shirt release happen at the shop on Saturday before store regular Jose Cuervo stages an unofficial alleycat cruscade race. City Bike closes on Sunday ahead of a weather-dependent detour that takes riders of all skill levels to Lithia for an informal early morning meetup at Balm Boyette; a 2 p.m. social ride leaves from the shop later that day.

More information is available on the shop’s social media page.
