In 2008, My Favorite Art Place opened in Clearwater.  Back then, the locals knew it as Menaul Fine Art, Menaul Art Printing, Canvas Zoo or Image Creations of Florida.

Whatever you call it, it's now it's open in downtown St. Petersburg, at the Sundial.

The heart of My Favorite Art Place comes from Jerri Menaul — and her late husband, surrealist artist Scott.

International artists show at the gallery, but it also celebrates local art and artists. At its Sundial location, the gallery will exhibit work from not only Scott Menaul, but Lorraine Potocki, metal artist Kate Gausche, paper artist Patsie McCandless, ceramics from Rasa, glass from Susan Gott, wood and stone furniture by Wille Woods, fiber by Belinda Chapnick, and a separate exhibition of art from cancer survivors.

Come see it all this Friday at their grand opening.
