Three people are relaxing in an industrial warehouse setting. On the left, a woman with blonde hair, wearing a dark polo shirt and a burgundy skirt, sits on a stack of flat, rectangular items, holding a white cup. In the center, a man with a beard and glasses, wearing a maroon t-shirt and khaki shorts, sits in a blue canvas folding chair. On the right, a woman wearing a light-colored tank top, orange shorts, and a pink headband, also sits in a blue canvas folding chair, holding up a small rectangular object with samples. Around them are tall shelves filled with inventory, wooden pallets, and various other warehouse materials. The floor is concrete, and there's yellow caution tape visible in the background.

Tampa Bay crafters can get some guilt-free supply shopping in this weekend.

At its annual Zero Landfill event, the Florida Central Chapter of the International Interior Design Association saves old and leftover craft materials from the dump to be upcycled by fellow creatives.

Attendees will be able to shop for their upcoming projects — whether a page in their junk journal, or a home improvement venture — for free. Crafters can choose from ceramic tile and wood samples to fabric and magazines, and help the planet one DIY project at a time.

For those who want to give back, nonperishable food donations are being accepted for Feeding Tampa Bay.

There is no cover for “Zero Landfill” happening Saturday, Sept. 13 in Tampa.
