Do It This Weekend: Oscar Night 2010 events in Tampa Bay, Nude Nites, Hyde Park Home Tour, Guinness Pour the Perfect Pint, Gasparilla Festival of the Arts and more

Sunday’s 82nd annual Academy Awards will gather Hollywood’s most glamorous denizens in one place so that we normal people can better assail their fashion sense. If you’d rather take the mocking public, check out the Oscar Night® America event at downtown Tampa’s historic Tampa Theatre. The only officially sanctioned event, Oscar Night® will include limo rides, red carpet arrival, food and wine samples from area restaurants, and the telecast of the show projected on the big screen. On the other side of the Bay, Beach Theatre is having their own Oscar shindig, this one free (guests are invited to dress up for the occasion) and includes prizes. (Pictured: Alec Baldwin and Steve Martin host the 2010 Oscars) Oscar Night(r) America, 6:30 p.m., Sun., March 7, Tampa Theatre, 711 N. Franklin St., Tampa, www.tampatheatre.org, tickets are $5-$40.
