Do It Today: Passion Pit at the Ritz and the Beatles' Magical Mystery Tour hits the Hard Rock

Sure, there are plenty of folks who criticize their music, but in the end, said folks end up looking like party-pooping naysayers thumbing their noses and cursing all the gyrating goodtimers on the dance floor. Maybe not, but it’s definitely not easy to stave off the infectious draw of the fivesome’s debut LP, Manners. Leadoff track “Make Light” blasts with pulsing bass, flourishing synths, and songwriter/lead singer’s Michael Angelakos’ relentless falsetto. Get a heaping dose of nostalgia when the actual Magical Mystery Tour bus rolls into town in honor of the Hard Rock's founding day in London nearly 40 years ago. There's also free swag and nosh for the first 100 people in the door, a Beatles tribute band, and chance to win tickets to see Ringo Starr & His All Starr Band.
