Do This: Church of Nintendo

If you’re looking for a fix of digital nostalgia, worship at the Church of Nintendo, hosted by St. Pete’s Euro-inspired bar The Amsterdam.

Taking place every other Wednesday, this technological blast from the past will feature tables set up with several beloved gaming systems — including Nintendo 64, Super Nintendo, GameCube and Atari 2600 — and over 400 different game choices. Vintage TV sets will stream “cheesy” ‘80s movies via Netflix — appropriately accompanied by two-dollar cheesy nachos. Select craft-beer drafts and house wines will be available for $5. Attendees are invited to bring their own personal gaming chairs to the dog-friendly event, and will have the opportunity to compete in challenges and win prizes. 6 p.m.-1 a.m., Wed., June 4, 1049 Central Ave., St. Petersburg, Free, theamsterdamstpete.com
