Do This: Festival of Chocolate's Great American Candy Run

If Willy Wonka and his sugar mogul cohorts were to hold a field day corporate competition, the Great American Candy Run would be included in their activities.

The obstacle course for all ages, fitness levels and backgrounds invites you to come "face-to-face with a giant cookie pit, hurdle through a peppermint patch or dive through dizzy donuts." Competitions will be taking place throughout the day today at the Museum of Science and Industry in Tampa, held in conjunction with the final day of MOSI's Fourth Annual Festival of Chocolate.

You lucky ducks with paid time off today for the MLK holiday can chuck your usual workout and opt instead to run, walk, jump, dig, stack, crawl and launch their way through a makeshift Candy Land.

The Great American Candy Run, the first of its kind, is an un-timed event, so don't fret about taking too long to complete it. Children under 5 must be accompanied by an adult. Space is limited. On-site registration will be available for $10 per person. festivalofchocolate.com.

Entrance into The Festival of Chocolate is included with the purchase of MOSI admission (adults: $21.95; children: $17.95).
