Everybody has a story, right? Of course, not everybody can tell their stories the same way. Some people tell them with poetry. Others tell them with dance. Others tell them with semaphores. Hey, we don't judge. We do, however, want to watch. During the Bay Area Festival of Storytelling you can hear and see and feel stories getting told in all these ways. OK, so we may have made up the one about semaphores, but wouldn't that be cool? Also cool and really happening: Affirmations Project of Tampa's stories of people with cancer survivors, a reggae and poetry night and "Hungry for Stories" with Janet Keeler. Dates and times vary, but for five days there are more stories in the Bay area than you can shake a book at.
