When it comes to Tampa Bay arts events, Gasparilla Festival of the Arts is the biggest deal. Back in downtown Tampa at Julian B. Lane Riverfront Park after going virtual in 2021, GFA has tapped Tampa Bay native Janet Echelman (have you seen “Bending Arc” at the St. Pete Pier??) to jury the 2022 show happening March 5-6.

Printmaker Betsy Best is GFA’s 2022 festival image artist, and the festival itself features hundreds of artists from around the world—plus local and emerging artist showcases—all looking not just for eyes, but a slice of the nearly $100,000 award pool. Free to attend.
