The 12th Annual Dogtoberfest is coming back to Dunedin.

Set for November 16 from 11:30 a.m.-5 p.m., the event will be packed with adoptions, contests and eats for both pups and their humans.

The Super Pet Adopt-a-thon will have over 50 rescue groups on-site to get animals out of shelters and into forever homes. There will also be a pet talent contest, and a low-cost vaccination clinic for those who need updated shots. Come dressed to impress for a pet costume contest and a photo-op with Santa (it's November, people).

A Running of the Wieners will also be going down, so have your cameras and bets ready (we kid about the second part).

Best part? Admission is free, just bring $5 for parking and cash for vendors, including a beer tent with import and craft selections.

This year’s Dogtoberfest is hosted by Boxer Rescue Angels of Florida, Inc. Head to Highlander Park, located at 1920 Pinehurst Rd. in Dunedin, for all the slobbery fun.
