Wanna show your Valentine how cultured and weird you are? Take them to Second Screen Cult Cinema’s screening of Tomas Alfredson’s 2008 Swedish romantic horror flick, Let the Right One In, in which novelist/screenwriter John Ajvide Lindqvist tells the story of a bullied 12-year-old boy who makes friends with Eli, a vampire girl from Stockholm.

The underlying theme in the movie is forgiveness, but we won’t forgive your Tinder date for bailing on you after they realize you’re a little too strange for commitment.

Cocktail hour starts at 6 p.m., bloodsucker.

Second Screen Cinema: Let the Right One In. Wed. Feb. 13, 6 p.m. Suggested $5 donation. Epicurean Hotel, 1207 Howard Ave., Tampa. 6-10 p.m. secondscreencultcinema.org.
