Florida State Fairgrounds hosts SharkCon 2019 this weekend

There’s no water necessary for you to get your personal Jaws experience on at this year’s SharkCon 2019.

Celebrity guests are making their way to the Florida State Fairgrounds, like WWE superstar Kurt Angle and Ernie Hudson of Shark Attack (and Ghostbusters).

Bring the entire family and let the kids explore exhibits, ocean-themed vendors like The Florida Aquarium, and hear about ocean conservation from nonprofits.

Oh, and mermaids will be on-site for photo ops.

The event runs Saturday 9 a.m.-6 p.m. and Sunday 9 a.m.-5 p.m.

Tickets are $19.95 for adult 1-day pass/$24.95 for 2-day, children $4.95/$7.95. Just a heads up, parking is $8.
