For the book's 75th anniversary, Tampa's Stageworks Theatre presents 'The Diary of Anne Frank'

The show runs from Feb. 4-20.

It’s the 75th anniversary of the publication of “The Diary of Anne Frank,” and to mark the occasion, Tampa’s Stageworks Theatre has tapped Berkeley Prep junior Mercy Roberts to make her company debut in the title role.

With antisemitism frustratingly on the rise again, there’s never been a better time to reconnect with one of the most important works to emerge from one of the worst times in human history.

Stageworks is also working with local Jewish organizations to offer Sunday matinee post-play discussions with audience members and can offer additional support for schools or other organizations who'd like to use the play as a “teaching moment.”

Tickets to see "The Diary of Anne Frank" at Tampa's Stageworks Theatre from Feb. 4-20 are on sale now and start at $15.
