For over two millennia, people have made art from plants. Loosely translated, "bonsai" could mean "tray planting" and that sorta makes sense, given how the teeny-tiny trees are potted miniatures of larger ones. If you've ever thought it'd be cool to have your own bonsai but felt overwhelmed at the responsibility of keeping a big tree tiny (without killing it), check out this free workshop with Dave Collom of the Hukyu Bonsai Society of Tampa.
