This year, the Humane Society is working toward saving 9,800 animals, and it's less than 1,500 away from making its goal. Here’s how you can help, visit a pumpkin patch near you and drop off some dough and pet supplies for four-legged friends in need. Who knows, you might even make a connect and bring one home.
Other than holiday festivities, CL has also rounded up other events hosted monthly throughout the Tampa area.
Humane Society of Tampa Bay Pumpkin Patch: The pumpkin patch is located at the white tent outside of the Humane Society’s intake parking garage entrance. Bring the entire family or your significant other to choose from traditional gourds to painted pumpkins to carve up or set on display for you socially distanced Halloween trick-or-treaters. Prices range from $1 – $20. All proceeds benefit the Society’s homeless animals in need. 10 a.m.-5 p.m. through October 31. 3607 N. Armenia Ave., Tampa. humanesocietytampa.org
Hyde Park Pumpkin Patch: Hyde Park is bringing back its pumpkin patch throughout the month of October for a good cause. All proceeds from pumpkin sales will benefit The Humane Society of Tampa Bay. Pups & Pumpkins: Time to get a little tipsy and pet some dogs. You might even go home with one – which is much better than the alternative.
