Plato's Closet With seven locations in the greater Tampa Bay area alone, Plato's Closet is quickly becoming the go-to stop for secondhand fashion. The franchise specializes in stylish, gently-used clothing and accessories by top-name brands and designers, and is frequented by teens, 20-somethings, and those of us who avoid the mall and its prices like the plague. A buying club gives you the chance to earn points for your purchases to apply toward future shopping sprees. Plato's Closet also takes trade-ins and offers cash or store credit based on style, condition, brand and its current inventory. With locations in Carrollwood, South Tampa, St. Petersburg, Brandon, Largo, Palm Harbor, and Wesley Chapel; hours vary. platoscloset.com. —LP
