Is your kid itching to run leash-less through the zoo?

Take them to ZooTampa where a partnership with the Ironman series has birthed the Ironkids race. Youths of every age old can compete in five different races in different parts of the zoo (seriously, the youngest division is for kids 2 and under).

Parents against participation trophies should probably stay away, however, since every finisher gets a medal along with a goody bag.

ZooTampa Ironkids race. Sat. Sept. 21, 8 a.m.-11 a.m. $20-$35. zootampa.org.
