Lately, buying coffee has taken on new import 'round the CL offices — is it fair trade? Sustainable? Same thing with chocolate. But what about clothes? Related: human trafficking. "Fine," you say, "but I don't buy and sell humans, so this doesn't apply to me." Um, not so much. Human trafficking happens all over the world — it's a $150 billion (with a B) per year industry.

What can you do? First things first: Attend this workshop at the Scientology-based United for Human Rights Center, and they'll help you understand not only what you can do, but also the true scope of the problem.
